The Maroon Ajrakh Dress Material is an unstitched cotton set printed with a geometric Ajrakh-inspired pattern. The gallery shows the cloth pieces laid flat. It does not show a stitched kurta, and the material is not sold as a finished suit.
The main length carries repeating geometric motifs in maroon and black. A narrower length, intended for the bottom, uses a darker ground with a small geometric edge. The dupatta length repeats the geometry in a border rather than covering every inch. Together the three pieces are meant to be cut into a coordinated suit.
This product is unstitched. It includes the printed top fabric, the bottom fabric, and the dupatta fabric. No lining, no stitched garment, and no blouse are included. Because the print is directional in places, ask your tailor to follow the motif when placing a neckline or a hem. Metre measurements are not marked on the pieces.
Maroon and black is the colourway of this variant. Indigo and white, and rust and navy, use the same geometric layout. Once stitched, it suits everyday ethnic wear and a festive outfit that prefers print over heavy threadwork. Wash it in cold water the first time separately in case of loose dye, avoid bleach, dry it in the shade, and iron on a cotton setting.
